Sneak Preview for Monday’s Column
Coming Monday in the GW Hatchet: my column about my visit to the House of German History in Bonn, Germany.
The museum is a must see for Americans visiting Germany. As Americans, we learn all about German during the war, and then we learn about the Berlin Wall, a bit about the airlift, but more than that, I would venture to say most Americans don’t know the details about how Hitler’s Germany transformed into the Germany where I am studying today.
It is a fascinating story, one that makes you think, and realize our responsibility to no only remember the history of yesterday, but to also impact the history happening today.
